Spiritual zest, spiritual superhero

Vulnerability: the flapping cape of spiritual zest

Spiritual zest, spiritual superhero

Spiritual zest, a cape of vulnerability?

If only spiritual zest came with a cool mask, a flapping red cape, and the ability to fly! Unfortunately, in a lot of ways, being vulnerable is the flapping cape of spiritual zest. A spiritual superhero remains non-triggered in spite of slings and arrows actually shot, or merely perceived as shot, in their personal direction.

Where is your spiritual zest these days? Are you a spiritual superhero? If the push from summer into fall has got you dragging, Ricky Martin’s ”La Copa de la Vida” will pick you right up. According to Martin you have to “Go, Go, Go!” if you really want it.” The lyrics continue, “Now is the time, don’t ever stop, be strong and push it along.” Sounds about right, doesn’t it?

And the final push: “If you really want it, just steal your destiny. Right from the hands of fate, reach for the cup of life, ‘Cause your name is on it.

The Universe is always on time and on schedule. We either wake up to it, or we don’t. Your spiritual zest is also ever present; you just have to choose to be awake to it. Many things will get in the way. Time and time again, you will have to put “many things” away, and return to your spiritual zest, the center of yourself, the center of the Universe, the center of Oneness.

Be a spiritual superhero, full of spiritual zest

Be that spiritual zest. Be that spiritual superhero. Remind the rest of us what it looks like for just this moment, or just that next moment. Pass the cup of spiritual zest back to everyone you meet. Pay it forward. Keep reminding yourself, and by so doing, remind everyone else.

What are you reaching for this week, this month, this lifetime? Are you pushing, and remaining strong? No matter if one time you felt your spiritual zest weaken. You can pick it up where you left off; why not start today?

The enthusiasm of the music, and Ricky Martin himself, oozes off the video screen. Put a little Latin in your step this week with this Monday Music. And use the Grounded Relating music challenge today, and every Monday, as a weekly practice to stay present to yourself.

Do you really want it? [x3]
Go, go, go, ale ale ale [x2]
Go, go, go, here we go, yeah

The cup of life, this is the one.
Now is the time, don’t ever stop
Push it along, gotta be strong.
Push it along, right to the top

Como Cain y Abel, es un partido cruel.
Tienes que pelear, por una estrella
Consigue con honor, la copa del amor
Para sobrevivir y luchar por ella
Luchar por ella (YEAH)
Do you really want it… (YEAH)

Here we go! Ale, Ale Ale! Go, go, go! Ale, Ale Ale!
Arriba va! El mundo esta de pie. Go, Go, Gol!! Ale, Ale, Ale

La vida es, competicion. Hay que sonar, ser campeon
La copa es, la bendicion. La ganaras, Go, Go, Go!

And when you feel the heat. The world is at your feet
No one can hold you down. If you really want it
Just steal your destiny. Right from the hands of fate
Reach for the cup of life. ‘Cause your name is on it
Do you really want it…(YEAH)
Do you really want it…(YEAH)

Tu y yo! Ale, Ale Ale. Go, go ,gol! Ale, Ale, Ale
Tonight’s the night, we’re gonna celebrate
The cup of life!!! Ale, Ale, Ale.
[repeat 1, 2, 3]
Un, dos, tres, ale ale ale. Un, deux, trois, ale ale ale…
