Human compassion: homes for homeless

Human compassion wave started with one tiny home

Human compassion is amazing! The things it can do! Just a small act of human compassion, can start a whole movement. One man’s personal choice with regards to an act of human compassion, ignited inspiration in hundreds of people, miles away from his own resident city. His one small act of human compassaion, garnered media and internet attention.

This spring, Elvis Summers of Los Angeles gave of himself to help a homeless grandmother in his neighborhood, by building her a tiny home. In the process, a new personal mission of human compassion emerged.

It’s a rare opportunity to share such good news as this story of human compassion revealed by the building of a tiny home. And now, Summer’s single tiny home-building has spawned into a “many homes for many people” project, with multiple states showing interest.

Smile: your acts of human compassion are also significant

And then smile; because if this one person in LA could make such a big difference in many people’s lives, it’s quite possible you could too. And the world will become a better place, grounded in the heart, radiating outward human compassion and compassionate act of service.

According to reports, Summers’ cost for building the home for Smokie, the homeless grandmother, was minimal at only $500, but made such a monumental difference in her life, its quality and her future possibilities.
