CVille Satsang discusses Enneagram in April
Do you want more satisfaction in work and relationships? To understand your natural gifts and self-made limitations? Join CVille Satsang on April 8th to discover the Enneagram, a personality framework of nine types. Understanding our Enneagram type aids us in self-observation and awareness of our individual preferences and inner motivations. With greater understanding of how the three Centers of Intelligence (heart, mind and body) operate in our daily lives we can create less dissonance, even in the midst of chaos and stress.
The Enneagram has the potential to guide us on all life’s matrices and is an access point of self-inquiry and spiritual growth, easily supporting existing yoga or meditation practices. An overview of the Enneagram, group dialogue, and meditation, will provide you with a better understanding of your unique motivations, fears, and desires.
If you’ve been feeling spiritually stuck, this session might serve to free your flow — or at the very least, help you uncover some of your own resistances and fixations creating your “stuckness.” You will leave with new levels of awareness regarding the deep inner workings of your orientation to the world. Expect to be surprised!
About the April CVille Satsang event and Lynsie McKeown
CVille Satsang is a local group of like-minded individuals seeking a greater sense of community and connection through the love of all things yoga. They gather together once a month to play, practice, discuss, meditate or chant. This group is intended as a collaboration between teachers, students and the yoga curious as a way to keep expanding our knowledge and loving support off our mats. Grounded Relating’s Pamela Perkins Donnelly will present Discover the Enneagram at the April 2017 CVille Satsang from 2:00-4:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 8. The event, organized by Lynsie McKeown will be held at Common Ground Healing Arts.
Yoga came into Lynsie McKeown’s life during a challenging time of transition and loss. The practice of Yoga provided a way to transform struggle into opportunity and she continues to draw inspiration from the never-ending journey of the human heart. Her devotion for greater awareness and spiritual growth are reflected in her teaching and writing. CVille Satsang Facilitators: Pamela Donnelly & Liz Susong
Pamela Perkins Donnelly loves talking about what makes us humans putter along, stall out, or even explode. She is a Certified Narrative Tradition Enneagram Teacher, and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator Practitioner, as well as a long-time follower of the curiosity-first principle. As Grounded Relating’s primary Self-Discovery Coach, Pamela uses talk story, the Enneagram, MBTI, and other systems to assist individuals in peeling back the layers of conditioning and automatic beliefs in order to reveal their more essential, open-ended and curious nature. Currently she spends her days organizing and hosting events for two meetups (Charlottesville Advaita Friends and Grounded Living) and blogging on her Grounded Relating, LLC, website, a talk story enterprise promoting human compassion through self-awareness.
Liz Susong teaches gentle Hatha yoga at Let It Be in Charlottesville. She is the editor and founder of the diversity-based publication Catalyst Wed Co. The Enneagram has been her favorite tool for personal and spiritual development for seven years.
This event is offered to the community at no charge; donations to Common Ground Healing Arts are welcome to support the use of their space.
